AUGUSTA -- Regina "Mimi" A. Poulin, 103, formerly of 16 Kendall St. and 142 Northern Ave., died Tuesday morning, Nov. 22, 2005, at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care at Glenridge, after a long illness. She was born in St. Samuel, Quebec, Jan. 30, 1902, the daughter of Beliam and Albertine (Rousseau) Audet.Mrs. Poulin was a communicant of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society and Cushnoc Senior Citizens.She had been employed at the Veterans Administration Medical and Regional Office Center at Togus for more than 20 years as a food supervisor. She loved to read all kinds of books, especially National Geographic.She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Poulin, in 1931; a son, Raynald M. Poulin; a daughter, Muriel Poulin; a brother, Jean Audet; and sisters Alvine LaPointe, Delia Bouchard, Evelyn Hornblower and Helen Faucher.Survivors include two daughters, Yvette Gilbert and Lorette Gagne, both of Augusta; three sisters, Adrienne Audet of Augusta, Bernadette Hornblower of Stornaway, Canada, and Antoinette Begin of Grandbay, Canada; also 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.Friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, where members of the Ladies of St. Anne Society will meet at 2:30 p.m. to recite prayers for their departed member. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday morning at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Northern Avenue, Augusta.
