Harriet A. Morin, 84, of Manchester, died Aug. 22, 2005, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester. Mrs. Morin was born Oct. 21, 1920, in Derry, a daughter of the late Elwyn A. and Ethel E. (Venner) Bailey. She was a former resident of Derry and Goffstown. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry. She had worked many years as a stitcher in the shoe industry in Derry and later was a health-care worker at McKerley's Health Care Center in Bedford. Mrs. Morin enjoyed political, historic and current events. She is survived by a son, Claude V. Morin Jr. of Lady Lake, Fla.; two daughters, Rosemary L. Huskie of Lady Lake, Fla., and Michelle J. Turgeon of Manchester; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Elwyn Bailey Jr. of Texas and Warren Bailey of Derry; two sisters, Lucy Brown and Ethel Cadieux, both of Derry; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leo A. Bailey and Thomas G. Bailey; and two sisters, Minnie I. Galvin and Eleanore Wells. ARRANGEMENTS: There are no visiting hours. Private family graveside services will be held. The Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
