Kenneth Joseph BARRIERE

Fishing in a much better place! Kenneth Joseph Barriere, an employee of LeTourneau, Inc., went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2005 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas at the age of 40. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He graduated from St. Augustine High School, after which he served his country in the U.S. Navy Sea-Bees. He was a member of Household of Faith Family Worship Church International. Survivors include his loving wife, Cassandra Mason Barriere; one daughter, Jerica Barriere; his mother, Emelda Williams; his father and step-mother, Antoine and Althea Barriere; his brother and sister-in-law, Antoine and Dale Barriere; his sister and brother-in-law, Katina and Rohan Campbell; his grandmothers Rosalie Williams and Clara Barriere; his father and mother-in-law, Alfred and Natalie Mason; his brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Valerie Prier; grandmother-law, Margaret Mason; two nieces, Trinity and Heaven; two nephews, Antoine and Kenyatta; two adopted daughters, Deidre Waters and Theresha Mathieu; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Everyone is invited to celebrate his life. Services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2005 at Household of Faith Family Worship Church International, 630 Jackson Avenue, at 12 noon. Visitation and viewing from 11 a.m. to 12 noon only. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Road. D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
