Sauvage, Alice M. -- Saginaw, Michigan -- Mrs. Sauvage passed away Wednesday evening, October 26, 2005 at the Cartwright Hospice Home, age 76 years. Alice was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Amelith. She was retired as a Registered Nurse. On September 24, 1954 Alice married Ernest T. Sauvage and he survives her. She is also survived by her children: Thomas K. (Sharon) Sauvage, Curtis W. Sauvage and Jeffrey W. Sauvage all of Saginaw; grandchildren: Heather, Jarrod, Ryan, Danielle and Keri; her step-mother, Dorothy Bartreau of Bay City; a half-sister, Jackie (Brett) Gray of Bay City; a half-brother, Floyd (Gloria) Bartreau of Linwood; step-sisters: Yvonne (Ray) Glumm of Bay County, Connie (Don) Higgins of Bay County and Carol Cobb of Indiana; sisters-in-law: Mary Bartreau of Bay City, Arlene Gregory of Hale and Hazel Sauvage; aunts and uncles and several nieces & nephews. Alice was predeceased by her father, Floyd Bartreau; her mother, Viola Schuler; her step-father, Ervin Schuler and her brother, Robert Bartreau. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 31, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church of Amelith. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen P. Starke. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, St. John School Building Fund or VNA Hospice of Saginaw.
