Edgar R. Beaulieu , 83 of Pompano Beach, Florida died Saturday, August 27, 2005 in Miriam Hospital, Providence after a brief illness. He was the husband of Jeanne (Lafreniere) Beaulieu whom he married on July 1, 1973 and the late Ida (DeStefanie) Beaulieu. Born in Woonsocket on June 5, 1922 a son of the late Arthur and Alice (Dansereau) Beaulieu. He was the Owner of the former Edgar's Bait Shop in Woonsocket for twenty years retiring in 1971. Mr. Beaulieu moved to Pompano Beach in 1985 previously living in North Smithfield and Woonsocket most of his life. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge 850 in Woonsocket. He served in the Army during WW2. Besides his wife he leaves two step sons, Robert Nault of North Smithfield, RI and Ronald Nault of Pompano Beach, Fla. two brothers Roger and Robert Beaulieu of Woonsocket, two sisters, Theresa Duhamel of Pompano Beach and Gertrude Paul of Woonsocket,two Grand daughters and two great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Norman, Gerard, Leo, Maurice and Sr. Lucille Beaulieu. His funeral will be Thursday at 11:30 am in St. John the Baptist Cemetery Chapel, Wrentham Road, Bellingham, Ma. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
