Norbert Joseph Belisle, 78, entered into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, December 10, 2005 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 9, 1927 in DaMar, Kansas and was the youngest of his twelve brothers and sisters. Mr. Belisle has lived in the Inland Empire for the past 50 years. He was a Chef by trade and operated a number of restaurants throughout his lifetime. Norbert was retired. Most recently, he worked part-time at Chuck's Diner in Rancho Cucamonga, because he loved, so much, being part of the restaurant business. He enjoyed meeting with his friends and co-workers, at the diner, to chat and to enjoy their company. Norbert's passion was in his music. He gained great pleasure, over the years, writing and composing songs. His music was enjoyed by all of his family and friends. Norbert's enthusiasm for music was evident by his taking every opportunity to sing the many songs he had written. Norbert was a wonderful father to his three sons. He dedicated his life to his family. Norbert taught his sons the importance of following the Lord and living a Christian life. He was a caring person and was always there to make hard times less burdensome. His uncompromising love, caring and guidance will be with us forever. He will greatly missed by all. Norbert is survived by his wife, Millie Belisle of Ontario, CA; three sons, Jeffery Belisle of Fontana, CA, John Belisle of Upland, CA, G regory Aaron of Laughlin, NV; two daughters-in-law, Connie Carrasco-Belisle and Vickie Sims; granddaughter, Jenifer Hernandez of Ocklawaha, FL; great-granddaughter, Brianna Belisle of Ocklawaha, FL; brother, Raymond Belisle of Wichita, KS;and sisters, Neola Clark of Bronson, KS and Valena Wagoner of Riverside, CA. Viewing will be today, Dec. 14, 2005 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Todd Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005 at 1:30 p.m., also at Todd Memorial Chapel (909) 622-1217.
