Jeannette BENOIT

Cournoyer, Jeannette, age 90, of Pelham, AL formerly of Pompano Beach, FL passed away on October 18, 2005 in Pelham, AL. She attended Liberty Church in Birmingham, AL. She lived and died with grace and dignity, she was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Nelson Cournoyer; a sister Alice Benoit; and a brother, Hervey Benoit. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Liaty and Celeste (Donald) Gilliam; six grandchildren, Peter (Erin) Badala, Lisa (David) Treadway, Jeannie (Lou) Marzano, Jason (Rebekah) Stitt, Aaron (Francesca) Gilliam, and Kristie Gilliam; and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, October 20th from 10 AM till service time at 11:30 AM. The funeral service will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation in Pompano Beach, FL will be Sunday, October 23rd from 1PM until service time at 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Chapel with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
