Patricia Gene BENOIT

TRUAX, Patricia Gene (Benoit) July 21, 1930-Oct 28, 2005 -- Patsy Truax passed away after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Sacramento and attended Marshall Grammar School and Sutter Junior High. The family moved to Roseville in 1944 where Patsy completed her education and graduated from Roseville High School in the class of 1948. It was there that she met her future husband, Joseph Truax. They married on Valentine's Day 1949 and made their home in eastern Oregon. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Joseph F. and Helen M. Benoit and her older brother Timothy (Tim). She is survived by her husband Joe of Milton-Freewater, OR, her son and daughter-in-law Keith and Debby Truax of Milton-Freewater and her daughters and sons-in-law Jody and Mike Ward of Payette, ID, and Kathy and Randy Reese of Milton-Freewater. Also surviving her are grandchildren Amy (Ryan) Evey, Erin Ward, Rhiannon (Derrick) Stallings, Sara Truax, and Kyle Truax, and great-granddaughter Mackenzie Stallings. Her surviving siblings are sisters and brothers Joan (Alden) Stanley, Helen (Gilbert) Duran, and Dick (Pam) Benoit, all of Roseville. CA, Robert (Dori) Benoit of Rocklin,CA, brother-in-law Don Truax of West Linn, OR, sister-in-law Amy Benoit of Rathdrum, ID and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service and Mass will be held at in Milton-Freewater at 9:30 AM on Saturday, Nov. 12.
