OCALA - Oliver George Bernard, 52, a superintendent of asphalt division for Rainey Construction of Wildwood, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at home.A native of Strasbourg, France, Mr. Bernard moved here from Homosassa in 1973. He was a Protestant.Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Donna Bernard, Ocala; daughters, Melinda Coon, Jennifer Synychak and Michelle Bernard, all of Ocala; sisters, Veronice Cambell, Gracie Bernard and Diana Bernard, all of Cocoa; brother, Eddie Bernard, Washington, D.C.; father, Edwin Bernard, Cocoa; and three grandchildren.Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, provided information.
