Senecal, Yvonne "Meme" L., 94, resident of Bourget Court, North Smithfield, RI.Died on Monday, July 11, 2005 at the Holiday Retirement Home in Lincoln, RI.Wife of the late Andre "Jerry" Senecal Sr.She was born March 17, 1911, in Manville, RI Daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia (D’Anjou) Bernier.She worked in textiles in the Woonsocket, Providence and Worcester areas, as pattern and dress designer. A resident of North Smithfield for the last 8 years, previously she lived in Woonsocket where she lived most of her life. A member of the following, St Joseph’s Seniors, Senior Council of Woonsocket, former president of the VFW Auxiliary in Woonsocket, and she was the first president and founding member of the Woonsocket Chapter of the AARP. She was an avid boater.Survivors include, Son-Andre Senecal, of North Smithfield, R.I.Daughter in Law- Kris (Cater) Senecal, of North Smithfield, R.I.Grandson-Joseph A. Senecal of North Smithfield, R.I.Funeral will be held Thursday at 10am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Philip Church Putnam Pike Greenville, RIBurial will be in St. Jean Baptist Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are prior to the funeral from 9:30am until 10:30am.
