ROCHESTER — Robert A. "Bob" Bisson, 57, of 34 Stillwater Circle, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover following a long battle with cancer.Bob was born Jan. 2, 1948, in Rochester, N.H., he was the son of Joseph and Cecile (Mercier) Bisson. He was educated in Somersworth schools, graduating from Somersworth High School, Class of 1966.He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving two tours of duty.He had been employed at Davidson-Textron for 25 years and later as a consultant at Tyco-Simplex.He enjoyed his home and family. He had played bass guitar with the Natural Lights.He was a good friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed by them and his family and his two dogs, Jordan and Bubba.He was predeceased by his parents.Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Donna (Belanger) Bisson of Rochester; three sons, Brent Masse and his wife, Cori, Brian Masse and Troy Bisson, all of Rochester; five grandchildren, Nick, Cory, Derek, Ethan and Tia; two step-grandchildren, Emilee and Chelsee; a sister, Margaret Rainville of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Roger Bisson of Sanford, Maine, and Martin Bisson of New Durham; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and Bill Huff, a close family friend.A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Martin Church with interment to follow in the Columbarium in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 642 Central Ave., Dover, NH 03820.
