Emma N. BLANCHETTE

NEW SMYRNA BEACH - Emma N. Blanchette, 87, of North Dixie Freeway, a lifetime resident of New Smyrna Beach and member of the pioneer Nordman family, died Monday at Bert Fish Medical Center. Mrs. Blanchette, a homemaker, was born in New Smyrna Beach. She was a 1936 graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women. Survivors include a son, Joe, and a daughter, Margaret Woodard, both of New Smyrna Beach; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Dudley, New Smyrna Beach, is in charge.
