SOMERSWORTH — Richard P. Blouin, 75, of 15 Davis St., died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at his home following a long illness.He was born in Rochester, N.H., Sept. 10, 1930, the son of Alfred and Alda (Labonte) Blouin. He was educated in Somersworth schools and had resided here all of his life.He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He had been employed as an insurance agent with Prudential Life for 27 years and later worked at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.He enjoyed playing cards, he loved sports and lived for his children and grandchildren.He was a member of the American Legion Post 69 of Somersworth, the Catholic War Veterans, and the Rochester Elks 1393.Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Theresa (Gagne) Blouin of Somersworth; a son, Don Blouin and his wife, Tess, of Clayton, Calif.; two daughters, Denise Nadeau and her husband, Patrick, of Rockford, Mich., and Dianne Aubert and her husband, Thomas, of Rochester; also three grandchildren, Allison Aubert, Scott Nadeau and Mark Nadeau; several cousins.Friends may call Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Roberge Funeral Home, 298 High St., Somersworth. The Elks will conduct services at 7 p.m. and The American Legion and Catholic War Vets will conduct a joint service 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Martin Church with Fr. Aaron Pfaff, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Seacoast Cancer Center, 789 Central Ave., Dover, N.H. 03820.
