Dorothy BOISVERT

PRINCETON, N.J. - Dorothy Boisvert Dobratz, 81, wife of Richard H. Dobratz, died on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at University Medical Center in Princeton, New Jersey.Born in Wallingford on Feb. 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Albert Boisvert and Alberta Peters Boisvert. She graduated from Lyman Hall High School and was employed by Ellmore Silver Company and CUNO Incorporated. She was a member of the Silver Squares Dance Club of Wallingford and had a talent for knitting and crochet. Mrs. Dobratz lived in Meriden for many years before moving to Cheshire in 1964. She had recently moved with her husband to Stonebridge at Montgomery, a continuing care retirement community in Skillman, New Jersey.Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Nancy, and her husband, Simon Archibald, of Pennington, N.J.; two grandchildren, Emma and Ian Archibald; a brother, Albert Boisvert and his wife, Clara, of Wallingford; several nephews, nieces, and cousins; also two of Mrs. Dobratz's sisters-in-law, Mrs. Myrtle Irvin of Meriden and Mrs. Madeline Dobratz of Farmington.A memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
