Barbara BOUDREAU

Barbara "Babs" Boudreau-Zucco, 72, Venice, died Dec. 6, 2005.She was born July 25, 1933, in Sarasota and was a lifelong area resident. She retired as a director of St. Mark's Episcopal Church Preschool, where she had been a teacher for many years. She was a member of Epiphany Cathedral, where she was a Eucharistic minister and a Life Teen team member. She was a founder and past president of the Venetian Society of Basket Weavers, a founder of the Venetian Sun Fiesta, and a volunteer and docent at Historic Spanish Point, Osprey.Survivors include her husband, Joseph; daughters Pamela of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Cecily Hatfield of North Port; sons Kenneth of Osprey, Paul of Oviedo, Andrew of North Port and Jacques of Gardens of Gulf Cove; a sister, Sandra Lawler of Sarasota; a stepdaughter, Fern Lindsey of Reno, Nev.; a stepson, Sheldon Goodstein of Boston; a stepsister, Edith H. Losley of Key West; a stepbrother, Marion Houser of Tyler, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Ewing Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Epiphany Cathedral.Memorial donations may be made to Epiphany Cathedral Memorial Fund, 310 Sarasota St., Venice, FL 34285; or to Historic Spanish Point, 337 N.
