LEOMINSTER -- Marguerite C. (Boudreau) Farineau, 86, of Leominster, former resident of Lunenburg, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 14, in HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster, after a brief illness. She was born on June 3, 1919 in Fitchburg, the daughter of Timothy and Ida (LeBlanc) Boudreau and lived in Fitchburg for 48 years before moving to Lunenburg, then Leominster for the past eight years. While living in Fitchburg, Mrs. Farineau had been a secretary for the former Parke-Snow Department Store for many years before she retired. As an active senior, she was a member of the Retired Women’s Club, The Booster Club, and the Senior Citizens Center, all of which are in Fitchburg. She was also a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church, Leominster.Mrs. Farineau leaves her daughter, Judith Varin of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Kirsten Werme of Charlotte, N.C. and Michael Varin of Marietta, Ga.; three great-grandchildren, Cameron Werme, Oliva Werme, and Parker Varin; and many nephews and nieces. Her husband of 54 years, Francis J. “Mike” Farineau, died in February of 1998. FARINEAU -- On Dec. 14, Marguerite C. (Boudreau) Farineau, 86, of Leominster. The funeral will be held from the Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg with Mass on Saturday Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. A private interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Saturday morning from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Published in the Sentinel & Enterprise on 12/15/2005.
