Boudreaux, Alonzo D. "Lonnie" A resident and native of Geismar, he died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, at 2:58 a.m. He was 32 and a longshoreman. Visiting at Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church, Darrow, on Saturday, Dec. 31, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Sidney Tobias. Interment in the church cemetery. He is survived by his parents, Albert Lee and Gail Shivers Boudreaux; maternal grandmother, Eleanor Pack Shivers; godmother, Ethel Lee Shivers; paternal grandfather, Albert "Joe" Boudreaux; sister, Brandi Boudreaux; and two brothers, Corey Boudreaux and Reggie Bell. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Shivers Sr.; paternal grandmother, Olevia Boudreaux; and uncles, Reginald Shivers and Mark Shivers. Pallbearers will be Marcus Boudreaux, Farrell Johnson, Derasmus Johnson, Quintrell Scott, John Thomas Jr. and Eric Robinson. Honorary pallbearers are Corey Boudreaux, Reggie Bell, Charles Boudreaux, Charles Shivers Jr., Michael Shivers, Donald Barnes, Troy Barnes, Charles Barnes, Dustin Johnson, Travis Shivers, Todd Thompson, Brandon Allen and Michael Shivers Jr. He attended Southern University for two years and was a graduate of East Ascension High School. Lawson-Rollins Purple Shield Funeral Home, Gonzales, is handling arrangements. Published in The Advocate on 12/30/2005.
