MAURICE - Funeral services will be held at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church for Eulyce B. Montet, 91, who died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at her residence.The Rev. O. Joseph Breaux, pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the Mass and conduct the funeral services. Musical selections will be provided by Valerie Andrus and will include "Amazing Grace", "Just a Closer Walk with Thee", "Notre Pere'", and "J'irai La Voir Un Jour".Interment will take place in St. Alphonsus Mausoleum. Mrs. Montet, a native of Abbeville and lifelong resident of Maurice, was the daughter of the late Alphe Boudreaux and the former Euphele Sonnier. She had worked for sometime as a dental technician for Dr. Eleazar.Survivors include her nephew, Gerald Ognibene, and her godchildren, Gary Villien and Judy Meaux.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gladue Montet; one infant brother, Woodrew Boudreaux; maternal grandparents, Albert Sonnier and Ophelia Brasseaux Sonnier; and her paternal grandparents, Robert Boudreaux and Euphemie Vincent Boudreaux.The family requests visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. today until time of service at 2 p.m.A rosary will be recited at 11 a.m. today in the funeral home.Pallbearers will include Gerald Ognibene, Gary Villien, Al Sellers and Dalton Sellers.The family would also like to extend a special thank you to her sitters; Lisa and Lea Abshire; the staff of St. Theresa's Hospice, and the staff of Concept of Care Home Health.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concept of Care Home Health, 100 General Mouton, Lafayette, LA 70501Personal condolences may be sent to the Montet family at www.delhommefuneralhome.com.Delhomme Funeral Home, 200 Chief H.
