SANFORD - Jeanne Bougie Langlais, 70, of Sanford, died early Monday afternoon, Dec. 19, 2005 at Goodall Hospital with her family at her side. Jeanne was born in Sanford on Aug. 29, 1935 to Alfred Babe and Yvette Guillemette Bougie. She attended Sanford schools. She was employed for a time at Kessler Shoe Company in Kennebunk and then for 30 years at Sprague Electric in Sanford. Jeanne was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed watching basketball and baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox. She also liked watching the horse races. Jeanne was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church in Sanford; her faith was a very important part of her life. She was a very loving and caring person and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Jeanne was predeceased by two sisters, Jeanine and Patsy Bougie; and her father, Alfred Babe Bougie. Surviving are her mother, Yvette Bougie of Sanford; special friends, Pauline Brochu of Sanford, and the Bergerons of Biddeford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A period of visitation will be held at Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, located at 29 Winter St., Sanford, on Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, at St. Ignatius Church in Sanford. Interment will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery in the spring.
