Imelda Silva -- March 15, 1915 - November 30, 2005 -- Imelda (Boulanger) Silva., 90, of Swanee Drive, in North Dighton, MA passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at the Longmeadow of Taunton Nursing Center in Taunton, MA. She was the wife of the late John F. Silva. Born in Fall River, MA on March 15, 1915 the daughter of the late Amedee and Emma (Beaudoin) Boulanger, she worked as a textile worker in the garment industry in Fall River for fifty years before retiring in 1977. She was a communicant of Saint Louis de France Church in Swansea, and a member of Societe Des Dames de St. Anne.Survivors are a daughter Louise A. Mahoney of North Dighton, MA two sons Robert H. Silva of Attleboro, MA Richard J.N. Silva of Thousand Oaks, California seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lillian Dufour, Alma Boulanger, Leon, Albert, Henri and Raymond Boulanger.Her funeral will be held on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 9am from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Louis de France Church 56 Buffinton St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery Somerset. Calling hours with a video photo album are Sunday, December 4, 2005 from 4-8pm.
