Michael Joseph BOURGEOIS

MICHAEL JOSEPH BOURGEOIS, 79, of Highland, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2005. He served in the US Army in WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery on Iwojima. He worked for the Boston and Maine Railroad for 20 years as a Train Director and the Federal Government in transportation. Michael was a member of St. Adelaide Catholic Church, The San Bernardino Elks, Disabled American Veterans and the VFW. He is survived by his wife o f 58 years, Adele; 3 daughters, Joan Owen of Fountain Valley, Diane Lunsford of Tehachapi, and Janet Hansen of Highland; and 4 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, February 1, at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel at 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino. Mass of Resurrection will be Wednesday, February 2, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at St. Adelaide Catholic Church, 27457 Baseline, Highland. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area #1, Riverside.
