LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at Christian Life Center, 411 Verot School Road, for Clifton J. Bourque, 70, who died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005 at Lafayette General Medical Center.The Rev. Richard Meche, pastor of Christian Life Center, will officiate. Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park. Mr. Bourque was the son of the late Leonard Bourque and the former Lidia Sonnier. He was a member of Christian Life Center. He knew Jesus as his personal savior and loved Jesus with all his heart.Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Rita R. Bourque, of Youngsville; daughters, Sally Ann Bourque, of Youngsville, Brenda Ann Winters and husband, Dennis, of Montgomery, Texas, and Patricia Ann Bourque, of Youngsville; grandchildren, Stephanie Heath, Katrina Lavergne, Cody Lavergne, Ashley Stelly, Crystal Bourque, Ronnie Lantier, Anthony Schexnyder, Joshua Himel, Sarah David, Joseph Himel, Megan Kreig; great-grandchildren, Sheena LeBlanc, Skyler Heath, Jacoby Stelly, Gage David; and sister, Verna Mae Veronie, of Duson.He was preceded in death by his parents.Visiting hours were observed from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Tuesday and will continue from 10 a.m. today until time of service at 1:30 p.m. at Christian Life Center.Pallbearers will include Willie Veronie, Dennis Winters, Paul Heath, Claude Romero, Charlie Romero, Walter Romero and Roy Romero.Personal condolences may be sent to the Bourque family at www.delhommefuneralhome.com.Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
