FITCHBURG -- Yvonne M. Bourque, 98, formerly of 69 Shea St. and Worcester, died Saturday, Dec. 24, at The Keystone Center, Leominster. She was born in Fitchburg on Aug. 30, 1907, one of 16 children born to Edmond and Elmire (Goguen) Bourque and had resided many years in Worcester before returning to Fitchburg 30 years ago. Miss Bourque worked as a winder and packer at the Bell Company and Reed Prince Company, both in Worcester before her retirement in 1972. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Fitchburg. Miss Bourque is survived by four brothers, Leo Bourque of South Yarmouth, Francis “Bill” Bourque of Newport News, Va., Joseph Robert Bourque and Raymond R. Bourque, both of Fitchburg; a sister, Blanche Methot of San Jose, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arthur Bourque, Emil J. Bourque, Rene Bourque, Lena Morin, Marguerite Forest, Alice Varga, Beatrice Leger, Louise Dahart, Lillian Bourque, all of Fitchburg, and Henry Bourque of Leominster.BOURQUE -- On Dec. 24, Yvonne M. Bourque, 98, of Fitchburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg.
