Richard Fortuna Boyer, of Murrells Inlet, S.C., died Saturday, December 17, 2005, in South Carolina. Mr. Boyer was the son of the late Emile and Rose Dauphinais Boyer. He was of the Catholic Faith. He lived most of his life in Montreal, PQ, Canada, and then moved to Milford, in 1958. He was employed by Bridgeport Machines until his retirement in 1985. Mr. Boyer served in World War II with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a tail gunner. Surviving are his daughter, Jocelyne Soderberg and her husband, Robert, of Myrtle Beach; three grandchildren, Erik, Mark, Nadine; and two sisters, Muriel Allard Keeler of Connecticut, and Lillian Cunnungham of Canada; and numerous nephews and nieces.
