BREAUX BRIDGE — Services for Verina Theresa Breaux Romero, 76, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.Visiting hours will be observed today from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a Catholic Daughter rosary being recited at 3 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday at 7 a.m. until the time of service.A resident of Breaux Bridge, Mrs. Romero died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at her residence.Mrs. Romero was a member of the Catholic Daughters and also an Eucharistic Minister for the homebound and St. Bernard Church. She was also a member of Court Alice Boucher Catholic Daughters.She is survived by her two sons, Patrick Romero and Neil Romero and wife Tanya all of Breaux Bridge; three daughters, Priscilla Boudreaux and husband John of Broussard, Angela Latiolais and husband Chris of Mandeville, and Andrea Smicker and husband John of Brusly; a brother, Roland Breaux of Breaux Bridge; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Mrs. Romero was preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Joseph Romero; and parents, Joseph and Electa Thibodeaux Breaux.Pallbearers will be Troy, Todd and Tracy Romero, Ryan Boudreaux, John Smicker Jr., Chris Latiolais, John Boudreaux and John Smicker Sr.To view on-line obituary, sign guestbook and view video tribute, go to www.pellerinfuneralhome.com.Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of the arrangements.
