PUTNAM- Priscilla J. Girard, 94, died peacefully Friday, December 23, 2005 in Day Kimball Hospital. She was the wife of the late Julian Girard for 54 years. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Celia (St. Onge) Brodeur.Mrs. Girard worked for the former Belding Hemingway Co. and American Optical. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church of the Visitation and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Jaquish of Putnam and Claire Durand and her husband Phil of Thompson; a brother, Ronald Brodeur of Harrisville, CT; six Grandchildren Donna Casko, Nancy Missino and Lori Albee all of Putnam, Stephen Durand of Pomfret, Michael Durand of Durham, CT and Daniel Durand of Woodstock and 11 Great grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
