Joseph E. BROUILLARD

Joseph E. Brouillard Jr., 70, of South Lawrence and formerly of Andover, died Thursday, June 9, after a long, courageous battle with cancer, at Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, Mr. Brouillard was educated in the Andover schools. He was a parishioner of Saint Patrick's Church in Lawrence. Mr. Brouillard served in the National Guard for seven years, and served for the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Brouillard was a machinist supervisor for Davis and Ferber of North Andover, and a fabricator for the United Plastics Co., also in North Andover. Family members said he enjoyed camping, loved to dance with his wife, enjoyed comical hats, and most importantly loved his children and grandchildren. Family members include his wife of 51 years, June A. (Blackington) Brouillard of South Lawrence; son, William J. Brouillard of Lawrence; daughters, Donna Pari and her husband Paul Pari of Haverhill, and Cheryl Noonan and her husband Dennis Noonan of Haverhill; one sister, Diane Collette of Newburyport; two brothers, Albert G. Brouillard and his wife Patricia of Andover, and Raymond A. Brouillard of Haverhill; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA01701; or to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA 01843. Arrangements were by the John Breen Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence.
