CLARK, MARIE A. (BRUNELLE) -- Of Holly, died Wednesday, February 23, 2005. Marie, known to family and friends as Louise, was the daughter of Joseph Brunelle and Blanche Tessier. She was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Canada on August 10, 1922 and came to the United States with her family as an infant. She married Herman Clark on January 15, 1941. Louise resided in Michigan all of her life, having lived in northern Michigan, Holly, and the Jackson area. She was well known in Holly for her community projects and participation in her church, St. Rita's Catholic Church. She is survived by her four children, Diane (Doug) Hill of Bloomingdale, IL., Gary (Jill) Clark of Shreveport, LA, Kathy (Jack) Bacon) of Holly, Janet (Roger) Higgins of Holly; grandchildren, Randall (Tracy) Hill of Fenton, Denile (Hanley) Lollar of Louisville, KY, Greg Bacon of Lewisburg, TN, Khristine (Rob) McCollor of Fenton, Ashley Higgins of Holly, and Samantha and Jackson Clark of Shreveport, LA; great-granddaughter, Natasha Henley of Louisville. She is also survived by her sisters, Evelyn Burgman and Betty Lynette; stepbrothers and sisters, Patrick, Raymond, Francis, Michael, Joanne Brown, Winifred Zychski, Anne Steaban, Mary Zochowski, Rita Drugich, Barbara Brunelle and Virginia Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Clark; brothers, Edward, Alexander (Abe, Alec), Aime, Arther (Archie), Albert, Lawrence, and Alphonse; and sister, Loretta. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Arrangements were made by the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly. Published in the Jackson Citizen Patriot on 2/25/2005.
