Doris R. BUREAU

Doris R. Bureau, 68, of Great Plain Road, Danbury, died peacefully at his home on Monday, September 19, 2005. He was the husband of Doris A. (Gagne) Bureau. He was born in Quebec, Canada on June 17, 1937, son of the late Henry Louis and Alma Bureau.He has made his home in Danbury since 1964. Doris was a master carpenter, owning and operating D.R. Bureau Construction.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three sons, Dany of Jewett City, Stephane of Bethel, Stacy and his wife, Tracy, of Bethel; and his granddaughter, Chae. He is also survived by seven brothers; four sisters, and many nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church on Saturday, September 24th at 10 a.m.The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Friday, September 23rd between the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897-2523.To light a candle of hope and remembrance, please visit our Web site at www.CornellMemorial.com.
