Henrietta Raiche -- Kankakee -- Visitation for Henrietta M. Raiche, 86, of Kankakee, will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday at the Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, West Kankakee. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, where she was a member. Cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley. She died Saturday (Aug. 27, 2005) at Provena Heritage Village. Mrs. Raiche retired from Sun Chemical. She had been a secretary at St. Rose School, employed by the Plumbers/Pipefitters Local 383 and was also a clerk for Judge Henry. She was born Feb. 4, 1919, in Kankakee, the daughter of Eugene and Rose Brouillette Caron. Her husband, Francis E. Raiche, whom she married May 23, 1953 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, died Feb. 1, 1983. She did volunteer work at St. Rose Church. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, John and Kim Raiche of Orland Park; one daughter and son-in-law, Caron and Steve Wenzel of Woodstock; and four grandchildren. Deceased are one brother, Edward Caron; and one sister, Wilhelmine Tinney.
