Roland Arthur CARON

DOVER — Roland Arthur Caron, 82, formerly of Fourth Street, died on Dec. 20, 2005, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, N.H. He was born Dec. 31, 1922, in Dover, the son of Elise and Bertha (Simeon) Caron. He went to school in the Dover school system and went on to NH Technical School. He worked as a machinist at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and Kidder Press. He served our country in World War II in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Blanchard of Dover; his brother, Raymond Caron of Northwood; his sister, Alida Gilbert of Dover, and one grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Anita (Haley) Caron; and his son-in-law, Robert S. Blanchard of Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.A funeral service will be held on Sat., Dec. 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 25 Third St., Dover, N.H. with the Rev.
