Catherine CHALIFOUX

Catherine "Katie" Chalifoux, 80, died Dec. 17, 2005, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.She was born in Barton, Nov. 15, 1925, the daughter of Edward and Christine (Young) Chalifoux.She was a former Middletown Springs resident.Surviving are a cousin, Alice Miller of Rutland; her caregiver, Diane DelBianco of Rutland; her longtime roommate, Priscilla LaRock; and a close friend, Pat Agan.She was predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Gadaree; by five brothers, Ernest Chalifoux, Carl Chalifoux, Albert Chalifoux, Henry Chalifoux and Harold Chalifoux.A memorial Mass will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Anne's Church in Middletown Springs. Burial will be held at a later date in Pleasant View Cemetery in Middletown Springs.Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Rutland County Humane Society, P.O. Box 558, Pittsford, VT 05763.Arrangements are under the direction of the Clifford Funeral Home.
