RICHMOND, Va. — Yvonne (Chatigny) Plucinski, age 95, of Richmond, Va., and previously of Brightwood Ave., Stratford, the beloved wife of the late Sigmund Plucinski, entered eternal life, Tuesday, May 17, 2005, in Richmond. Mrs. Plucinski was born Sept. 6, 1909, in Newburyport, Mass., and was a long-time Stratford resident before moving to Virginia. She was retired from General Electric, and was a volunteer driver for the Red Cross in Stratford. Her survivors include her two daughters, Constance Mitro of Richmond, and Daryn Kent-Duncan of New York; one brother, Wilfred Chatigny of Salisbury, Mass.; one sister, Doris Chatigny of Newburyport, Mass.; three grandchildren, Paul Mitro of Vermont, Michelle Hargbol of Virginia, and Lawrence Mitro of Georgia; three great-grandchildren, Breanna Lynn, Alexis Marie and Lauren Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, May 21, 2005, at 9 a.m. In the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in Saint Mark's Church for a funeral Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 96 Oak St., Hartford, CT 06106.
