Paul Sterling (Old Cuz) Chauvin, of Belle Chasse, LA, on Thursday, December 22, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Bourgeois Chauvin. Father of Sterling Paul Chauvin, Jr. and Diana C. Mahler. Father-in-law of Alvin C. Mahler, Jr. and Sandra Chauvin. Son of the late Laura Davis and Nelson Chauvin. Brother of Mildred Fryou, the late Emily Schwartzenbeack, Laurabell Brechtel, Cecile Roussell, Gertrude Stinger, Louise Keen, Emadell Thaxton and Clemse J. and Wilma J. Chauvin. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mr. Chauvin previously worked for Southern Pacific Railroad and later retired from Avondale Shipyard. Age 90 years. A native of Franklin, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse, LA for the past 33 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
