Mr. Leon Genest December 27, 1929 - November 19, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Glenwood Funeral Home On November 19, 2004 Mr. Leon Genest of Sherwood Park passed away suddenly at home at the age of 74. He is lovingly remembered by his children; Broderick (Emily), Joseph (Christine), Tony (Caroline), and Crystal (Greg) Tole, seven grandchildren; Thomas, Jacqueline, Derrick, Patrick, Kyle, Shawn and Cameron, one sister Alice as well as relatives and friends. Leon was predeceased by his wife Edith and his son Terry. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Monday, November 22, 2004 between 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park where a Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, November 23rd at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alberta Foundation for Diabetes Research.
