BOOJTACK - Clyde G. "Gorg" Clouthier, 79, of Bootjack and Venice, Fla., passed away on October 4, 2005, at Marquette General Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born on March 10, 1926, in Hubbell, a son of Geroge and Mathilda (Fontaine) Clouthier. He attended St. Cecilia School in Hubbell and Lake Linden schools. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.Clyde worked for GM-Buick in Flint until his retirement in 1979. He loved spending time in Florida over the last 30 years.On May 1, 1948, she married Betty Gilbert and she passed away on September 17, 1984. On November 28, 1985, he was married to Charlotte (Greif) Kentala at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hubbell.He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; two sons, Gilbert (Michele) of Clio, Mich. and Rod (Agatha) of Lapeer, Mich.; a daughter, Francine Gorsline of Clio, Mich; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five stepsons, Mark (Jackie) Kentala of Lake Linden, Brian (Janine) of Fenton, Mich., Nathan (Connie) of Dollar Bay, Keith (Diane) of Kenosha, Wis., and David (Karen) of Naperville, Ill; a step-daughter, Roberta (Ed) Dessellier of Dollar Bay; 14 step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Beck of Hubbell and Claire (Art) Chaput of Hubbell.The Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hubbell with Pastor James Fundum to officiate. The family will greet guests at the church for one hour before the service.The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church in Clyde's name.
