Lenore Coffey DuBois was born in Steuben, Michigan on July 25, 1922. Her parents were Norman and Sarah Coffey. Lenore served in the U.S. Navy from September 1943 to December 1944. She married Adolphe DuBois on September 21, 1944. She worked as a nurse for 15 years. She loved to fish, cook and bake. She also loved to create her own recipes and enter them in contests. She enjoyed traveling and going camping. Ed and Nora celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this past September. Nora went home to be with the Lord at 2 p.m. on Christmas Day. She is survived by her husband Ed, daughter Darlene, two sons Mark and Kirk, one sister Vi Kincaid, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to Father's House, 4481 Estrella Ave., San Diego, CA 92115 with a note in memory of Lenore DuBois.
