AGAWAM - Rosanna E. (Collette) Fiorini, 80, died Sunday, March 13 in East Long-meadow. She was born in Monson, on May 22, 1924 to Albert and Florence (Bryant) Collette. She settled in Springfield and was a graduate of the High School of Commerce. She also attended classes at the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Rosanna worked at Mercy Hospital for 26 years as a secretary in the Radiology Department and belonged to the National Registry of Medical Secretaries. She served as Past President of the Hampden District Association of Medical Assistants and was one of the founders of the Mercy Hospital Credit Union. Rosanna was a member of the Holy Rosary Society, a secretary for the Golden Agers and volunteered for the Society of the Blind. Her husband John Fiorini died in 1988. Rosanna leaves her son, John D. Fiorini of Agawam, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, two brothers George Collette of Wilbraham and Norman Thurlow of Hampden, her sister June Jones of Pennsylvania, a sister-in-law Derna Fiorini Scibelli and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. from Tazzini Funeral Home, corner of Locust & Main St., Springfield with a Mass in Mt. Carmel Church at 10. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
