Anna Elizabeth CORCORAN

POTTERSVILLE -- Anna Elizabeth Allard Hammond, 82, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, after a long illness, at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family. Born July 20, 1923, in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Walsh) Corcoran. Anna was a cook for the Black Bear Restaurant in Pottersville for 32 years. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, reading, knitting, repairing old jewelry and rescuing old dolls. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Anna was predeceased by two husbands, Walter Allard and Burnis Hammond; one infant son, Frederick Allard; one grandson, Sean Allard; and one great-granddaughter, Hailey Marie Cifrian. Survivors include one son, Robert Allard and his wife, Marilyn, of Pottersville; three daughters, Geraldine Cifrian and her companion, Marty Bruno, of Glens Falls, Arleen Frasier and her husband, Harold, of Pottersville, Barbara Bessey-Lecuyer and her husband, Danny, of South Glens Falls, one sister, Irene Lumia and her husband, Frank, of Elmont, 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services and visitation will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Underwood Cemetery, Adirondack. Pallbearers will be Stephen Frasier, Christian Frasier, Remy Bessie, Billy Ryan, Joshua Ryan, and James Porter.
