Hyannis, Mass. - Louis "Gene" Cote, 80, of Hyannis, Mass., died Sept. 19, 2005, at his home after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis.He was born on July 4, 1925, in New London where he spent his childhood.Louis and his wife Fanny lived in Quaker Hill and raised their four daughter while he worked for General Dynamics in Groton. In 1984, he married Marion Wagner, and they resided in East Lyme and Cape Cod.A graveside service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in New London at 12 noon on Friday, Oct 28, 2005.Published in The Day on 10/22/2005.
