CROCHET, STACEY JOSEPH A field technician with G.E.D., he died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at his home in Prairieville. He was 37 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, from 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, until Mass of Christian Burial at noon, with the Rev. Eric Gyan, celebrant. Interment in Prairieville Cemetery. He is survived by his father, Charles E. Crochet Sr., Prairieville; daughter, Megan Crochet; son, Brandon Crochet; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Amanda and Darryl Decoteau and Amy and Andrew Lewis; and brother, Charles E. Crochet Jr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Braud Crochet. Pallbearers will be Robert Braud, John Braud, Brian Braud, Dana Gomez, Craig Decoteau and Matthew Decoteau. Honorary pallbearers are Benoit Braud and Kernest "Doodie" Lanoux. In lieu of flowers, please make donations for the benefit of Stacey Crochet, account No. 707030417 at Chase Bank.
