Dolores DAIGLE

PITTSFIELD -- Dolores "Dodie" Starbird, 49, of 1101 Fayetteville Road, Rockingham, N.C., died Sunday at home. Born in Pittsfield on Aug. 8, 1956, daughter of Roland A. and Bernice V. Chandler Daigle, she was educated in local schools. Mrs. Starbird was employed as a waitress by Bella Italy Restaurant. Her husband, Paul L. Starbird Jr., died Feb. 22, 2004. She leaves a son, Paul L. Starbird III of Bennettsville, S.C.; a daughter, Tammy A. Starbird of Rockingham; two brothers, Michael Daigle of Savannah, Ga., and Richard Daigle of Rockingham; five sisters, Elaine Dowd of Becket, Nancy McLain and Carol Craven, both of Rockingham, Betsy Gonzales of Ellerbe, N.C., and Patti Rodriguez of Cascade, Va., and two grandchildren.Published in The Berkshire Eagle on 12/6/2005.
