Clinton - Eva E. LeVasseur of Clinton, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005.She was born in the Village of Flanders in East Lyme, on March 16, 1913, the daughter of the late James Francis Daniels and Flora Ann (Dean) Daniels.She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, William J. LeVasseur; her sisters, Mildred B. Steadman of Niantic, Thelma O. Pendleton of Old Saybrook, and Lulu I. Daniels of Norwich.She is survived by her son, W. David LeVasseur and his wife, Ann, of Killingworth; her granddaughter, Catherine A. LeVasseur of Killingworth and her grandson, Jeremy D. Hansen of Clinton; her great-grandson, Christian D. Hansen; and numerous nieces and nephews including Ellis J. Steadman and family of Canterbury, Gladys Thomas and family of Niantic, Barbara Adanti and family of Old Saybrook, Richard D. LeVasseur and family of New Hampshire, Alfred J. LeVasseur Jr. and family of Pennsylvania, and Annette Perkins, Jeannette Stribling, Shirley Hailey, and Nancy Sopher and families, all of Virginia; as well as various nieces and nephews in California and Maine.Burial was private at the convenience of the family.A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at the First Church of Christ Congregational in Clinton at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005.In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the First Church of Christ Congregational in Clinton, 55 Church Road, Clinton CT 06413.The Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook, is in charge of arrangements.Published in The Day on 10/23/2005.
