Olive Jean Long October 19, 1914 - November 20, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Campbell's Funeral Home Olive Jean Long age 90 of Amherst passed away on Saturday November 20, 2004 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan. Born in Amherst she was a daughter of the late John and Louise (Cram) Kellegrew. Olive enjoyed reading, sewing, Knitting, and writing in her daily diary. She loved to write her favorite quotes and poems in her special book which she kept near by. Olive was a loving Mother, sister, Grand mother, Great grandmother and Friend. She is survived by one daughter Joan (Donald) Chapman of Tidnish; three sons Ronald (Doris) of Sarnia ON, Jack (Pat) of Ottawa ON, and Jim ( Linda) of Amherst; two brothers Rhodes Kellegrew Sr. and John (Pauline) Kellegrew both of Amherst; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. Olive was predeceased by her husband Lawson, one daughter Carol Louise in infancy; one granddaughter Carol Ann Long; three sisters Ruby Kellegrew, Joanna Halliday and Marie Lessard; two brothers Jim and Grenfell. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A celebration of Olive’s life will be held on Tuesday November 23, 2004 at 2 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Home 98Church St, Amherst (667-9906). A Private family burial will take place in the Maccan Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Brookdale United Church or charity of the donor's choice. www.campbellsfh.com
