Anna M. Racicot -- February 23, 1907 - December 28, 2005 -- PLAINFIELD -Anna M. Racicot, 98, formerly of Central Village died Wednesday morning at Village Manor Health Care. She was born in Central Village, February 23, 1907 a daughter of the late Arthur and Exilda (Jolly) Defosse.Mrs. Racicot was employed as a textile worker at the former Brunswick Worsted Co. in Moosup retiring in 1954. She was a parishioner of All Hallows Church, Moosup and was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann. She was the wife of Donat Racicot who died February 22, 1975. Survivors include two sons, Lawrence A. Racicot of Coventry and Normand D. Racicot of Central Village; one sister Betty Carney of Central Village, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Armand and Louis and a sister Blanche. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in All Hallows Church, Moosup Tuesday January 3, 2006 at 10:00AM. Burial will be private in All Hallows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 238 West Town St. Norwich, CT 06360. Dougherty Bros.
