DeROSIER, Ken - longtime Spokane resident died August 28, 2005 due to natural causes. Ken was born April 10, 1922 in Wisner, Minnesota to Dolard and Beatrice DeRosier. He was in the Marines 1944-46 serving in the Pacific Theater. He worked a variety of jobsin timber, fishing, heavy equipment, until he went to work for Hyster Company 1953 as a heavy equipment mechanic. He worked for Hyster in Missoula, MT,Everett, Seattle, finally settling in Spokane. He retired from Hyster as regional sales manager in 1988. Ken had a great love for his family and friends. He will be remembered for his quick smile. Ken enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing was his passion in retirementuntil poor health prevented him. He is preceded in death by his father, Dolard and mother, Beatrice Redding. He is survived by siblings, Wilfred DeRosier and Bev Sanderson (Leavenworth), Lee Brydon (Fontine, MT) Loy Brydon (Tuscon, AZ); sons, Dolard DeRosier (Bellingham), Jim DeRosier (England); daughters, Cheryl Fullerton (Anchorage), Audrey Baxter and Renee Woodard (Spokane); stepson, Rodney Rodgers (Spokane); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A remembrance gathering will take place at Shari's on Sullivan on September 1st at 1 pm.
