Louis E. DeRosier, 82, of Duluth, passed away peacefully Dec. 4, 2005 at Lakeview Memorial Hospital. Louis was born in Duluth to Louis and Eda (Johnson) DeRosier. He honorably served his country during World War II. Louis was an avid sports fan who also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Louis will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert; and grandson, Jamie. Louis is survived by son, Robert of Henderson, Nev.; daughter, Denise (Jim) Clark of Superior; brother, Arthur (Joanne) of Duluth; six grandchildren, Ryan and Jeff Yingling, Robert Jr. and Samantha DeRosier, Lisa Garrett, and Rita Clark; five great-grandchildren, Andrew Yingling, Haylee DeRosier, Chris and Cassie Clark, and Andrea Mottern; and special friend, Louise. At Louis' request, no public service will be held. Services entrusted to the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 624-5200. Published in the Duluth News Tribune on 12/9/2005. -- Louis E.
