Violet L. DESROSIERS

AVONDALE, Ariz. -- Violet L. (Desrosiers) Letourneau, 82, formerly of Salem, N.H., died Sunday, May 1, 2005, at the Sunbridge Estrella Care Center. Born in Lowell, Mrs. Letourneau had been an area resident until moving to Arizona two years ago. She was a retired employee of Converse Rubber Co. The widow of Rene P. Letourneau Sr., she is survived by one son, Rene P. Letourneau Jr. and his wife Susan of Avondale; five sisters, Theresa Gallant of Lawrence, Noella Walker of Methuen, Germaine White of Lawrence, Julie Barbin of Venice, Fla., and Claire Gosselin of Lawrence; and one brother, Maurice Desrosiers of Methuen. There are three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 16, at 10 a.m., at Mary Queen of Peace Church. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem. At the family's request, there will be no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Racicot Funeral Home, 256 Broadway, Lawrence.
