Devereaux, Kathleen M. -- October 29, 2005 Kathleen M. Devereaux, 78, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1927 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late Edwin R. and Mary Ellen Butler Devereaux. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Edwin M. Devereaux. Ms. Devereaux was retired from New York Telephone Company after 38 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America where she held several offices. She was a member of Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church, and was past president of the Lady's Guild. She had served as a volunteer in the gift shop at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for several years. She was a past secretary for Timber Ridge Village. Survivors include longtime friend, Betty J. David of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; three cousins, Betty Jane Keefe, Pat O'Neil, and Helen Yarka all of Syracuse, NY. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church, in N. Myrtle Beach, SC.
