Yvonne Boudreau, 83, formerly of Beaverville, died Saturday (April 24, 2005) at Merkle-Knipprath in Clifton. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home in St. Anne, with a 7:30 p.m. wake service. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Beaverville. Rev. Robert Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Beaverville. Memorials may be made to the restoration of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Beaverville. She had worked as parish secretary at St. Mary's Catholic Church for 20 years, and worked in the family grocery business, "Boudreau's Grocery," during the war years for 25 years. Mrs. Boudreau was born Nov. 10, 1921, the daughter of Moses J. and Ludivine Regnier Dionne. Her husband, Lawrence Boudreau Jr., whom she married June 5, 1941 in Beaverville, died May 12, 2002. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Kathleen Boudreau of Wildwood, Mo., Mark and Barbara Toth Boudreau of Asheville, N.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Bill Acton of Sahuarita, Ariz., Beth and Randy Martin of Milan, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Jess Wilder of Bradley. Four sisters and three brothers are deceased. Mrs. Boudreau and her husband were election judges. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Beaverville, where she served as lector and Eucharistic minister, and taught CCD classes for many years. She was active in the National Council of Catholic Women serving as deanery president for one term. She and her husband traveled extensively in the United States and Europe.
